Yo Blogland!

I'm back after a break from personal and book review blogging. I will be writing here mostly about my writing progress, things as I see them (hence the title A Glamazon's View) and maybe the occasional review of whatever books I am reading at any given time. But that will happen at my own discretion as I am not receiving books from publishers anymore.

The writing has been a hard road so far. I am on my third draft attempt of the story I am calling Veiled. Much of my problems have stemmed from my perfectionist tendencies and lack of confidence in myself and my writing. I have found that nothing will stem the flow of creativity faster than self doubt. Between that and writing things that haven't worked in the context of the story for one reason or another and almost 60,000 words later I am on my third draft zero attempt of the story. Live and learn through making mistakes, I suppose.

But the story won't leave me alone and I'm just too stubborn to give up. So hopefully one of these days I will write The End. What comes after that? Who knows. But right now, it is a journey of word by word.
